<p>My name is Yosan Sahlu, and I am a Registered Social Worker at BLCC. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Children, Youth, and Family Services. I am an internationally trained professional with extensive experience in case management, crisis counseling, advocacy and referral. With a strong foundation in providing compassionate and effective care, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary therapeutic approach to support individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving positive mental health outcomes.</p> <p>My approach is centered on understanding the unique needs of each client, while fostering resilience and empowering individuals to navigate their personal journeys towards growth and well-being. In addition to my expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I am also trained in a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, allowing me to tailor my practice to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with.</p>
