Individual Therapy
Individual therapy gives you a private, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours with a trained mental-health professional. Sessions are tailored to your goals—whether that’s coping with stress, navigating a difficult life stage, processing trauma, or building healthier habits and relationships.
Our Approach to Therapy
During individual therapy sessions, the client and therapist enter into a therapeutic relationship and work collaboratively to gain insight into the client’s feelings, thinking, behaviour and experiences.
Some of the therapeutic modalities implemented by our therapists include:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Helps you identify unhelpful thinking patterns and build healthier ways of responding. - Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Teaches emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills. - Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Helps reduce stress, increase present-moment awareness, and prevent relapse of depression and anxiety. - Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
Highlights strengths and future-oriented goals to create rapid, practical change. - Trauma-Informed & Culturally Sensitive Care
Our therapists recognize how culture, identity, and life experiences shape mental health—and create a supportive environment where every client feels understood. - Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT)
Strengthens emotional awareness, improves attachment patterns, and helps individuals build secure and supportive inner experiences.
Therapy With a Diverse, Multilingual Team
The GTA is one of the most culturally diverse regions in the world—and so is our team.
Clients feel understood on a deeper level because our therapists share lived experience, cultural insight, and multilingual communication abilities.
