Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC)
At Better Life Counselling Center, our Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) program provides specialized counselling and mental health support for veterans, former RCMP members, and eligible family members. We serve clients across Toronto, North York, Richmond Hill, and the Greater Toronto Area as a registered service provider. What Is the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) Mental Health Program?
The Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) program offers access to funded mental health counselling and psychological services for eligible veterans and their families. Through VAC benefits, individuals can receive professional support for conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and other challenges related to military or RCMP service.
BLCC clinicians provide confidential, culturally sensitive, and individualized therapy in a supportive environment. Services align with VAC guidelines and can include assessment, treatment, and ongoing support. Our team is experienced in working with service-related mental health needs and can assist with direct billing where applicable.
The program focuses on:
- Trauma processing and PTSD recovery
- Emotional regulation and stress management
- Reintegration and transition support
- Family and relationship counselling
- Building resilience and healthy coping strategies
