About The Instructor:

Maya Machawe is an International Yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience. She is a member of Yoga Alliance International, Canadian Yoga Alliance and International Association of Yoga therapists (USA). Maya is Owner and Educational Director of Payammehr Cyclic Yoga Center in Tehran, Iran, and co-founder of the Cyclic Yoga Style in Teaching Hata Yoga since 1984. She is the author of three reference books, multiple articles on Yoga, and was the editor-in-chief of the first Yoga Journal in Farsi.

Maya provides techniques of Cyclic Yoga as part of a complementary therapy plan in physical healing for those who suffer from back-pain, neck or shoulder-ache, arthritis, multiple sclerosis as well as mental well-being. She also organizes seminars and professional workshops on, Meditation, Detoxification, Anger and Stress management.
