Education and Approaches
Lia Khalili is a Registered Psychotherapist and has a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor‘s degree in Speech Therapy. She has practiced individual and family therapy for over 10 years. Rather than simply addressing superficial symptoms of anxiety and depression Lia believes in identifying and addressing problems at their roots. Her play based approach puts children at ease resulting in greater cooperation which supports the achievement of treatment goals. Drawing from her experiences in speech therapy, Lia has developed programs specifically to support children with ADHD, learning disorders, and autism in improving academic and cognitive skills.
